Google Adwords Checking
We make regular checks on our clients adwords campaigns to ensure that their adverts are being displayed as expected. These checks are done through the Google Adwords system so that we do not have an impact on click through rates. Low click through rates may have a negative impact on the Google quality score which in turn may lead to increased costs per click - so please don't use Google to constantly monitor your ads or your click through rate will suffer.
Site Availability Monitoring - NEW!
We have up till now not tested that the websites were actually available as clicking on ads would obviously cost our clients money. Going onto the Internet a couple of times a day and testing that client sites are available would not really tell us much. So we have developed an application that polls our client's sites 3 times an hour 24 hours per day and reports on the returned site status. We will inform clients if there is a reported problem with their site or if the site is taking longer than a few seconds to load (visitors will not wait for a site to load especially if they are clicking on a Google ad).

If we notice a site is down for several consecutive check periods we can temporarily pause the Google campaign so that useless clicks are not charged to our clients accounts.
The usual web server logs you get from your hosting company will not tell you if your site has been unavailable as the logs only record when a visit is actually made, if the site is unavailable then no record will be created.

We will be making the statistics from these checks available to our clients online. You will be able to log onto our site and see just how nicely your site is behaving!
Non Managed Clients
This service is available to new clients who do not have Internet Marketing Management accounts with us at cost of £75 per month. The service is included in the management fees for all of our 'managed' clients.
